Hotel was great. Located close to downtown and its attractions. The hotel has a taxi service for local sites (Space Needle and Pile Market), which was nice and convenient. Free breakfast was good and the morning paper makes the morning coffee that much better. Oh yes, free internet service was a plus.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Silver Cloud Inn. Me and my brothers stayed in a larger room with two Queen size beds; it was very comfortable and roomy despite the four of us. The main reasons that I chose this hotel was the free parking, and the free continental breakfast, both of which exceeded my expectations. The parking was gated and, I felt, very secure. The breakfast had a lot of options, though I went on a busy weekend so it was fairly crowded. The gym and pool were nice options, though I didn't have the time to go to either. The room included a couch, work desk, several drawers, a small refrigerator (which was empty so that you could store your own food in it instead of buying theirs), a fairly large bathroom, and two sinks. My brothers and I especially enjoyed the large screen television and a nice view of biplanes taking off and landing. This hotel is fairly close to the space needle, so if you're like me and big city streets confuse you, the location is perfect. It is easy to find fun things to do in the local area. Overall it was a very good experience and I would go back.

The Silver Cloud Inn has a lakefront location, exceptionally easy freeway access ( a plus in Seattle) and the beds were comfortable. The easy to use secure parking, walking distance to restaurants and friendly staff made our college tour visit in the area very easy. Many of the rooms have lake views, we had an over the courtyard view, but that is the luck of the draw. There is a pool and workout room, we used them, which was a real stress reliever. Breakfast came with the room, and the fruit, waffles and coffee really got us off the a good start every day. While it was my mistake, I thought I booked the Silver Cloud in Tacoma, we had a great time! The pricing was very competitive, and we would return.... Thank you.

I chose this hotel based on previous stays with Silver Cloud, all at other location. This was the best by far. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is located on Lake Union and is relatively convenient to reach. Getting to I-5 from the hotel can be a small challenge if you don't know the streets but that is the only transportation issue. The hotel has a shuttle to downtown; Metro also has bus service as well as a streetcar that runs from just south of the hotel to Westlake Center. The hotel is close to downtown, Seattle Center & the Space Needle, Capitol Hill and the University District. Hotel parking is free, which was another factor in choosing this hotel. Overall I would recommend staying here to anyone.
