  We arrived at this hotel to find it completely desserted, with a sign posted on the door. The sign asked guests to check at the jewelry shop next door (which had gone out of business) or to call a phone number listed in order to contact someone to let us in. With only a few hours to sleep before we were scheduled to depart on a cruise, we left to find other, suitable accommodations. When we tried to get a refund (since the place was desserted) we were denied. Don't stay here! There are too many other good hotels in Old San Juan!!!
