The location of the hotel couldn't be better and would be the only reason to stay there. Very close and easy to stadium. Awesome sports bar that serves late is within 50 yds. Rooms are basic dated and not that clean. VERY small bathroom and thin walls. Wouldnt recommend staying more than a night or two. Good for a quick short trip

The main reason I booked this hotel was because of how close it is to Cowboys Stadium. The hotel itself was just average. We played catch the comforter most of the night as it wouldn't stay on the bed...a material issue I suppose. The breakfast was mainly cereal and some pastries that one could heat up...certainly nothing outstanding. Again, the hotel was average but the location was great. I have to give a bad review on value for money since I was there for a Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game and it was a bit pricy.

INCOMPETENT STAFF/OVER CHARGED/NO BREAKFAST

We were excited to visit the Sleep Inn; they quoted me a good rate/gave me the total over the phone with my credit card ""securing the room"" ; and, they stated a deluxe continental breakfast (waffles, eggs, muffins, bagels, fruit, apple/orange juice, cereal, etc) was provided. FIRST: Upon trying to check in at 3pm, the clerk had money spread across the counter and told me and several other guests--he was not ready to check people in, we would need to wait 15 minutes. So, after 25 minutes of waiting-we left and came back. Three guys at front desk, only ONE checking folks in. Not a ""hi how are you or friendly greeting"". Room was clean and orderly. Shower only with a toilet in tiny space with pocket door. No problem with room. Next morning for breakfast, we arrive at 8:30 (served 6-945a) and the ONLY food was 5 muffins and raisin bran cereal. Several folks were eating McDonald's. I asked the desk clerk and he said, ""we are out"". I noted it was an hour before it was over and there were about 20 guests wanting breakfast and he said he would check. 20 minutes later, asked again...""we are checking""...an hour later-nothing. I again asked-where is the breakfast you advertise and he said, ""we don't promise you breakfast"" and walked into back room. Other guests were also asking so he gave us a card with the sales mgr's name and said ""call her on Monday if you want"". Poor, poor service. He was not in the least bit concerned or helpful. CHECKOUT: he would not give a discount for no breakfast AND he charged me more than quoted; would not credit my card and walked away when I questioned the different rate. WOULD NOT VISIT AGAIN.

For the price I found the hotel to be a good bargain. The room was clean, beds comfortable and plent of hot shower water. The bathroom/shower are not large but that's okay, they functioned fine for us. The staff was pleasant and check-in/out went smooth. Notes: It's a loud hotel. It seemed that there were people (kids?) jumping on the floors all around us. It is a kid vacation hotel (across the street from Six Flags) but still, I've never heard/felt that much thumping before. I asked the front desk about a restaurant a block away and the front desk gave me directions. After walking with kids we found it had been closed a long time. They need to be more aware of these things! Breakfast is spartan (I expected that) but the only service person couldn't keep up. The pool closes promptly at 10:00 pm, bring your own pool towels and they have a security guard. Overall a good deal and the family had a great time - Thanks Travel online.
