We stayed here one night traveling from the west to the east coast. Van Buren, Arkansas is a northern suburb of Fort Smith, very close to Interstate 40. The hotel itself is a little off the beaten path but well worth finding. It looked brand-new. The rooms were clean, inviting, with a lot of counter space in the bathroom, and excellent water pressure in the shower, a comfortable bed with good pillows. Heating and air-conditioning were fine. The staff sent us to a small, local Italian restaurant called Frank's (a couple of blocks away) which was excellent and inexpensive. Across from the hotel was a small multiplex movie theater which was clean and inviting. The breakfast was excellent.
