The room was nice, clean and in quiet location. This was not a 5 star, so don't expect fluffy towels and a cushy robe, but it was a decent, clean place to stay. The TV was fuzzy, but passable. There were squeaky floor joints in the room upstairs which were noisy but not unbearable. There was a mini-fridge and a microwave. Both were clean an in good working order. Plastic plates and plastic silverware were helpful if you wanted a quick frozen lunch or dinner. Breakfast was free - another added bonus- and was the typical "free breakfast" fare - scrambled eggs, pre-cooked sausage, breads, juices, bagels. Make your own belgian waffles and a huge selection of hot cereal packets were a nice added touch. All in all, a great value for the money

07/17/2008Nice hotel, comfortable beds, clean room. airport shuttle came within 10 minutes. great breakfast, but crowded, not enough seating, get there either early, or after 9 am.

This was a family vacation to take in some sites in Washington DC. I can't say enought great things about this hotel. The room was more than I could have hoped for. It gave us plenty of room to move around in since it had the separate living/kitchenette area. Everything in the room was very clean and beautiful. The only problem I had was with the bed, but my husband and son didn't have any complaints with it. The swimming pool and whirpool were excellent - they even had a lifeguard on duty. The continental breakfast was a full breakfast which included eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, fruit, cereal, etc. It included anything you could want. The front desk staff were extremely friendly. They even had snacks at the front desk, i.e., fresh fruit, cookies, and always had coffee in the lobby. They also provided you with two bottles of water daily and you didn't even have to pay for them. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. I will only stay at this hotel when I visit this area again. And I will certainly be looking for other Springhill Suites when I visit other cities. Thanks for the stay!!!!

Had about a 10 mile drive to Fairfax , to the Metro. It was a 30 minute ride , to the center of Washington DC.. We would recommend this hotel , to anyone taking a vacation to DC. Restrants, and Target, was just one or two blocks away. And the best thing of all, this was a very safe neighborhood. The breakfest was great, and we could not have ask for a better place to stay.
