My husband and I selected this Staybridge location for the price, instead of the higher priced downtown lodging. Our stay at this hotel was pleasant. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to easily change rooms after we discovered that our view wasn't of downtown Austin. The room was clean and well furnished. The hotel seems very well maintained and surprisingly quiet, given it is located near the airport. The distance to the downtown attractions from the hotel was not as far as the map makes it look. The breakfast was very good and featured a wide selection of cold and hot items. The only problem at all was the elevator just off the lobby. It is a bit slow for anyone on the 4th floor and the door closes quickly and will hit you. Just be aware to enter and exit quickly, or request a room near another elevator. I would book a stay at this hotel anytime I visit Austin.

This hotel is very clean, modern and the rooms are very comfortable. Kitchenette, private bedroom suite and big screen TVs. The directions are a bit tricky as it is not located in the exact area where the other airport hotels are. I would recommend it for extended stays as well. The kitchen has a 2 burner stove, microwave, apartment size refrigerator, coffee maker, and dishwasher.

I made a reservation through travel online. We got a great rate for a 1 Bdrm Ste King Bed Nonsmoking. When we arrived we were excited because the hotel was wonderful looking but when we went to check in they were out of 1 Bdrm Ste King Bed Nonsmoking. They actually didn't tell us that. I was watching the girl, her name was Ma, at the desk for 10 minutes say "oh ummm oh." Finally she asked another girl (M), who was rude as ever, should she put us in another room that's bigger. M said "OH NO". M asked Ma what rate we paid and when she looked at it she was like "Oh wow, just put them in this room." All of a sudden we received keys and "thanks". I said to Ma, ummm what room are we getting? "Oh you're in a room with 2 queen beds" There was absolutely no I'm sorry or explanation why we reserved a king and got 2 queens. We weren't told the check out time or when breakfast was or where our room was or anything. Very very unprofessional and rude. I couldn't believe the service I was getting for such a nice hotel! We settled in to our room and went to the Elton John concert and came back and we took the last parking spot. Another guest arrived right after us furious that there was no parking, she had to park on the street. Ma and M wouldn't even help her. There were several cars taking up 2 spots and a truck and trailer taking up about 5-6 spots. While the room and hotel and everything about it was wonderful, Ma and M were horrible, especially the more experienced one, M.

My 21 year old son and I stayed last weekend. The room was very clean. I was a bit worried when we saw several sports teams staying there--usually the noise level is awful. Our room was exceptionally quiet, so the construction material of this fairly new facility must have been high quality. The complimentary breakfast was good, too. They had hot oatmeal in a steamer, sausage, egg dishes, as well as the usual fare. The staff was very helpful! The only thing that might be improved is vacuuming the elevators.
