We stayed at Staybridge for our July anniversary weekend, which was also the hottest 100+ degree heat wave in the East in years. When we arrived at our sweltering roof-top room, the a/c was turned off. It took hours to cool off the room. The front desk replied it costs money to run a/c in an empty room. We paid for that room and if we didn?t show, we would still have to pay for that room! We also booked the hotel for the small but nice 4? pool and hot tub. However, we barely got to use the pool as the hotel shares with the Sleep Inn next door. The hordes kept crossing the parking lot. In fact, we couldn?t use the pool at all on Sunday evening . There was no adult supervision (parents or lifeguard). Teens were shooting 3 foot water guns at everyone and everything. One huge 13 year old teen kept jumping in the pool and splashing other customers and newspapers. Out of control kids screamed for hours?unbearably loud in an enclosed indoor pool. Next time, I?ll stay at the cheap Sleep Inn and use and abuse the Staybridge amenities. Why should we pay $* per night at Staybridge when there is a Sleep Inn next door! The open free breakfast at Staybridge is very nice and the housekeeping staff is wonderful. ps The bed was hard as a rock.

We stayed at Staybridge for our July 5th anniversary weekend, which was also the hottest 100+ degree heat wave in the East in years. When we arrived at our room, the a/c was turned off. Our rooftop room was sweltering, and it took hours to cool off. In fact, we couldn?t use the pool at all on Sunday because the ill-mannered mob of Sleep Inn customers. There was no adult supervision (parents or lifeguard) of the Sleep Inn teens?they were shooting 3 foot water guns at everyone and everything. One huge 13 year old teen kept jumping in the pool splashing other customers and newspapers. Out of control kids screamed for hours?unbearably loud for an indoor pool. Complaining to the front desk was another joke equal to the a/c remark. Next time, we will stay at the cheap Sleep Inn and use and abuse the Staybridge amenities. Why should we pay $*per night at Staybridge when there is a cheap Sleep Inn next door! The comp breakfast was very very nice and the housekeeping staff were outstanding--pleasant and professional as well. The small room was very nice; however, the bed was hard as a rock.
