Being from the area, I was surprised at how affordable the hotel was. It was nice because I have a disabled sister and can not always be assured of a ground floor room in other hotels I have stayed in in the past. All the rooms are on one level and there are ramps, so the rooms are all handicap accessible. The rooms were very clean and always cleaned well. The setting is beautiful, even in the winter.

Room was a good size and staff was friendly. But what impressed us most was the huge (1-2 acres probably) outdoor lawn where we let our boy burn off some energy before getting back on our way. Towering maple trees shade this expansive area.Geese were abundant around small pond. Also noticed a golf driving range in back of hotel, very handy for a little practice while on the road. Room rate was very reasonable.
