I loved it at the Summit! We got a 2bdrm condo that was so cute! The staff there is very friendly, the pool was FABULOUS, and most of the condos are privately owned so it was quiet and relaxing with very few people up there. It is quite a drive up to it, but it was easy to find and the views are truly breathtaking! If you want a getaway this is the place. It

BEWARE OF WILD DOGS!!!
09/11/2010While we stayed there, there was a pack of wild dogs roaming the premises. one of the dogs was very frigthtening. if you stay there, just be careful.

Well, after looking for The Summit for hours, we were relieved to get to our condo. The view was breathtaking and worth the adventure, and I loved the staff and welcome we recieved. We had a hard time finding our way back up. They need signs posted along to way so you know where this place is. Would make us visitors feel better about being here. The mountains in the morning are a site to behold. We even talked about moving here. Our experience was memorable. Thankyou

We rejected rooms 4 times because they all smelled like smoke. We finally got a free ""upgrade"" from the smoke to musky-ness. The hallways smelled BAD. We aired the place out and it was OK, but we always held our breath in the hallways / stairs. Overall, it was worth it because it really has the best view in Gatlinburg, but you have to make sure you get it by calling. If you don't, you're view will STINK worse than the room. The thunderstorms are awesome though. Between them and seeing the morning fog from above, it made the trip. Overall, we're glad we stayed there, but we probably won't ever be back.

Condo was at the top of a mt, hard to find it, road was awful and winding,floor not vacuumed,bed and pillows was like sleeping on concrete, ADT alarm rang all night long one night, was told how sorry they were. We listened to the high pitch alarm all night long, no sleep...checked out one day early...Studio too small for 3 people...
