For the price in that area it was a good deal. The furniture was in new condition and the carpet was nice clean condition.The bed was nice condition but a bit hard. The tub water controls were a pull out type and a bit tricky at first to turn. It came with a very nice breakfast room with cereal,bagles,english muffins,and diffrent kinds of breads.Coffee,tea,juice,milk,& fruit.And a tv with the news playing. I would stay there again. Not far from the airport. We stayed at others that were higher and older condition rooms.

We checked into this hotel after arriving at the BGR airport late one night and left early the next morning. It was clean and they had a decent continental breakfast. The beds were comfortable, and we just considered it a place to stay. However, after going to Bar Harbor one day and up to ST.John, NB. we were tired of driving and needed a place to stay, so I said lets go back to the Super 8.in BGR. We know exactly where it is, and it's clean and they have a good breakfast. Everyone agreed, and when I called, they gave me the same advance rate that I had when I had prebooked the room, even thought it was 10 minutes before check in time. This room again was clean and the beds were comfortable. We didn't use the pool or any of the amenites, but the staff seemed very cordial. They had a separate sink and vanity area from the tub and toilet which makes it nice when traveling with others to speed things up in the morning.

Prior to booking hotel I called to see if they had a shuttle to and from the airport. The answer was yes. I booked the room based on that. When I arrive I was picked up at the airport which is 5 minutes away. Once settled in, I called the front desk to inquire if I needed a reservation for the shuttle to the airport in the morning. I was answered with questions- 1. Did we pick you up at the airport, I answered yes; 2. Are you staying 1 night, I answered yes. I was then advised that their "policy" (heretofore unpublished or not noted otherwise) said they would NOT shuttle me back to the airport as they had picked me up at the airport and I was staying 1 night. I told them that I asked about the shuttle before booking and was told they had a shuttle to/from the BGR airport, to that I was advised that I had been "misinformed". I called the SUPER 8 chain's 800#. I told them the story, they were astounded, they put me on hold to call the motel, came back and then told me the person at the desk (un-named for this review) was obviously rude but that they were a franchise so there was nothing they could do. Buyer beware. Ask every imaginable question you can think of before booking here. Their "policy" is not posted nor is it listed anywherey. Please also note that there is no elevator and a S T E E P staircase (no assistnace is available) to the 2nd floor.

Stayed here one night in November. It was horrible. My room was next to ice machine which kept going all night. Room fixture are dated. To far off the beaten path.Breakfast was not good. Definitely would not stay again

07/15/2008A good place to stay to put your head down, but not much more. it is a bit off the beaten track from the main activities for the area.
