Nice stay
03/14/2011Our stay at the motel was short, but a positive experience. the room was nice and the beds were comfy. the lobby area was attractive and breakfast muffins were yummy!

not a three star hotel
02/20/2011Travel agency called this a 3 star hotel - i disagree. 2 at best. rooms were dirty, only stairs and it still had smoking rooms, and put us two doors down ...
Travel agency called this a 3 star hotel - I disagree. 2 at best. Rooms were dirty, only stairs and it still had smoking rooms, and put us two doors down from smoking rooms. Lighting was blinking in stariwell. Not right on Travel agencys part

11/21/2010Staff was friendly abc was not. room was extremely clean unfortunately it was on the second floor and they have no elevator.

Rented 2 rooms for a weekend visit with friends. Checked in 11pm, told to go to side door which was propped open at night, unlit, and unwatched. One room was wide open and dark when I got to it (faulty lock). Hotel computer was downed by virus. Fire door broken and propped open. Lock on side door seemed to have been disabled. Toilet broken. Snooze button mashed through clock radio. Police action parking lot for 3 hours. Random people in the parking lot which it shares with 3-4 other hotels. Carpet peeling up in stairwells. Smell of mold or funk various places. Had a 2-night stay, second night decided to leave at 2am and drive 3 hours back home as I did not want to stay there as I felt I was getting dirty in the sheets (they were clean, the funk of the place seeped). Our group called it the Super 3 as we'd been to a super 8 that was acceptable before. I'm not sure what the deal was with this one, and maybe the room was just so bad because we ended up with smoking (my room nobody smoked) but it was not pleasant. Did not check out the pool, wireless signal was ok for me but not for one of our travelers. I'd rather have slept in a tent on the side of the highway. Don't get me wrong, the place was not death, I just feel ripped off that any of us had to pay to stay there. Place was worth maybe $* for the rooms, I believe they were over $* when I booked.
