Hotel is in a nice area of Colorado Springs. For the most part the hotel is clean & comfortable. There is a grocery store and gas stations along with Convenience stores very close by. You can order out for food, there is a menu in the room, with a large variety to order/choose from. Employees @ the front desk are very polite and helpful. They do have a free continental breakfast in the early mornings for those in a hurry or want a quick bite. The beds are okay. I've slept in much better, but I have also slept in much worse. The downside for me is, there is only 1 ice machine across from lobby. They do not have microwaves nor refrigerators in the rooms, that I'm aware of. I've stayed here numerous times, and have not had either. I could be wrong, just never had one in any of the rooms I've stayed in. One other thing, there is no swimming pool. If you want just a clean quiet room with nobody to bother you in a good location, then this is your motel. I don't believe it is kid friendly, ONLY because there is nothing for children to do @ the motel, whereas some places have pools and game rooms. This does not. Motel is very easy to find, and easy access to anywhere you want to go. They also have pamphlets on alot of things to see and do in and around Colorado Springs, if you so desire.

I have stayed at some really good super 8's before. so although this one only had one star i thought i would give it a chance. I have never been so disgusted in my life. They also wouldn't back up their guarantees, so fat chance on getting a refund. I have stayed at better hotels in third world countries. In my opinion, this is the worst hotel in the USA.

One star is too much for this hotel. Not only did they not have hair dryers or coffee makers, they didn't even have a clock in the room. My reservation was incorrect, so I was given a smoking room, and when I tried to change I was offered a similar room for $* more. The staff was incompetent and the entire hotel smelled bad. I would advise travelers to avoid this hotel.
