Not worth the savings - Do not stay here

I am not a hotel snob but after suffering through one night I could not stay at this hotel any longer. The smoke detector in my room was missing but the wires were hanging from the ceiling. Everything was old and outdated. Blanket on bed was worn through in places. Just had a "dirty" feeling to it. Ac/Heater blew curtains open to exposeing room to the parking lot. When I complained as I was leaving I was told "there were better rooms available" and that I should have complained sooner. But all of their rooms should be held to the same standard....including working smoke detectors.

08/08/2009The room had spiderwebs all over the celing and there were fruit flies in the room, i stayed up half of the night killing them.

Location not the best but staff is helpful
11/01/2007No sit down restaurants nearby, just fast food. were surprised to find a free "continental" breakfast (just donuts, bagels and muffins with coffee and juice, nothing healthy).

The location of the hotel is between two streets that have "adult" bars on them so some of the people checking in late at night may come from them. The hotel had an all night security guard in the lobby all night on the weekend.
If none of this bothers you, the staff was friendly and helpful, there was a computer in the lobby that you could check email on and it was a decent deal for the price we paid. -

I have been staying at this hotel for last 5 years. And let me just say, the new owners/staff have done exceptional job in remodeling this property. Lobby looks great. They also recently added a new business center for the guest. The rooms have new furniture and bed. This place is a bargain for the price I paid. Def will come back for a weekend getaway.

10/18/2006Newly renovated motel under new owner. the general manager pinky was very sweet. nice breakfast setup. well lighted parking lot. easily accessible off i-91.bargain for the buck!!
