We stayed here based on the good reviews Super 8 in Las Vegas NM has earned so far. The evening check-in staff person was very friendly, and was still put to shame by the woman who ran the counter in the morning. I stay at Marriot chain when on business trips and have been spoiled by their mattresses. But apparently this hotel just switched out theirs--the beds were very comfortable. Both my wife and I slept great!. The hotel itself it nothing to shake a stick at. Standard budget hotel fare. The place and room did have a slight off smell when we arrived. But not to the point of distration. Somewhere in the lobby I saw where they pointed to the website and encouraged people to write reviews. That's something management only does if they are confident of getting good responses and are working hard to earn good marks. I'm always happy to reward businesses that actively are trying to please their customers. I don't prefer staying at 2 star hotels, but I would stay here again and would recommend it.

After avoiding Super 8's for some years due to the poor and steadily deteriorating rooms we took a chance on this one due to the many very good customer reviews. We were not disappointed. Lady at check in exceptionly friendly and helpful. Even moved us from second floor to first when I mentioned my back trouble acting up. The room was a good size and very clean and that includes the bath room. They even had a complementary large kettle of delicious soup available to customers every evening. The check out folks were just friendly and the breakfast was better than the absolute basics.

Swore off Motel 8's many years ago but this one had such good reviews we decided to try them again. We weren't disappointed. The front desk folks were exceptionally friendly and helpful at all times both at check in and check out. They even had a large pot of daily soup for their guests. Moved our room from second floor to first at the mere mention of my back problems. And that check in lady never stopped smiling. She made me feel good that I had arrived. The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Refrigerator was a usable addition for us. The only thing on arrival is the parking lot entrance was a little tricky but then that is almost common at many motels. If I could be assured of a similar experience at other Motel 8's we would once again become regular customers. And of course we could not beat the Travel online price.

This was a fabulous find---safe, secure, comfortable and CLEAN! The manager and staff made you feel very welcome. The beds and pillows are fabulous and you get some very nice personal attention at breakfast. I had given up on Super 8 stays--the last couple have been horrible! I was reluctant to book here, but after I checked out many sites for reviews---I made the right--and very comfortable choice. It is convenient to all parts of town and the interstate.

When we check in around 6pm at this super 8 motel , The hot soup was ready in the lobby for the guests. That was nice. Their room was super clean and our room has woodfloor like home not dirty carpet. The desk clerk was very perfessional while we check in and check. Very nice stay and will be back.
