I choose to stay here everytime I come into town, it is a very comfortable pace to stay at a reasonable price for Juneau. The first couple of time I stayed here things were very inconsistant, however my last few stays have been perfect! I am never worried about the room being clean, the housekeepers are great. The staff is very pleasant and willing to help you in anyway possible. It seems like the staff is really paying attention to small things now and not just the big picture.

If you are staying here, ask for a 3rd floor room! First floor rooms are reserved for local drunks and the rooms are bad. Dirty, smelly and plain outright disgusting. Second floor is a little better, but the third floor is not bad for the price. Sheets are clean, bathrooms clean - rooms are basic. By the way - the manager/owner lives on the third floor. Desk help is ever-changing and also basic. They do have an available freezer to store seafood while staying there. The location is good - close to several eateries, and a small shopping area. Easy walking distance to a large grocery/retail store. Across the street is a great convenience store with a super deli.
