We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay as we were arriving after midnight. This econolodge worked out well. Also a Continental style breakfast was included starting at 4 am. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and it was located 3 miles from the airport.

As a woman traveling on business safety is always a concern. I found the Econo Lodge to be quiet and very convenient to the airport for an early flight out of Phoenix. The room was clean, fresh, and updated. Wireless was available. There was a good selection of pastries in the morning. The only problem I encountered was the mattress. Management is in the process of replacing them with pillowtops. I will stay here again if the rate is the same. For the * a night rate that I paid, it was a great deal.

We did not spend to much time at the hotel but we did enjoyed the little time we spent there. The place was clean and always cleaned when we got back. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me obtain my boarding pass. when I was having problems. In the negative side, the location is not the best place to take a short walk As, on reviewer said; Ok the worst thing about this hotel is denfinitely the location. I don't know how other reviewers failed to mention this, but I definitely learned about this the hard way. This "hotel" is right across the street from a federal prison. In fact its not even one block away. You know your hotel is NOT in a safe neighborhood when every establishment on the street is surrounded by barbed wire, The breakfast was not much to talk about., the cut off time was around 9:00 AM, too many carbs & sweets pastrys, the coffee was week and the juice had ran out.

We chose this hotel primarily based on its location. Beyond that it had the most reasonable price for the quality we were expecting. The room was pleasantly clean and perfectly adequate for our late-night arrival and early morning flight.
