Overall it was adequate for saving money where there are few options. I was disappointed to not have a frig or microwave in the room. Biggest complaint, no place to keep things cold. Unlike another review from a few years ago...I had plenty of hot water for showering in the morning. I was surprised to find that I did not need my key to open the outside door on the south end of the building when I came in at 10:30 pm.. I would stay again but come better prepared for the lack of certain amenities.

good bang for the buck
04/06/2009The hotel was clean, staff were very courteous and friendly. room was basic, breakfast was also basic, however was good. i would definitely recommend staying there.

If price and friendliness were my only concerns this would be top on my list of places to stay. Great people, breakfast was good, price was right. Room was bad, you could see the hall light through the cracks in the room door at night and hear the people above you. The pillows were about half the size of an average pillow. No room at the sink for your shaving gear let alone a glass and good luck finding something to watch on the television. But the room was clean.
