i was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. the price was very cheap for what we got. the room was a lot bigger than i expected and we got upgraded (for free) to a king sized bed. the room itself was very clean and the towels were a bit scratchy, but they smelled clean too. temperature in the room was easy to control using the control on the wall in the room (it was pretty cold and rainy when we stayed to we bumped up the heat). the staff was very friendly and helpful. free breakfast in the morning included coffee, tea, cereal and milk, bagels, toast/bread, mini muffins, orange juice, oatmeal, and fresh fruit. the location was perfect (very close to the airport, restaurants, shopping mall). the hotel is right on a main street, but it wasn't noisy or hard to get in and out of the driveway. there's lots of parking in the back. the doors to the building lock at night, so you need your keycard to get in (extra security). over all, it was a great place to stay and i would stay here again when in the area, and recommend it to friends and family.

Parking is limited, but the desk clerk was kind enough to move his car to the street so we could park in the lot. The room was clean and overall pleasant enough, Quiet, especially for being on a busy street.

No place is perfect and this is no exception. My wife and I wanted a place that was fairly inexpensive to tour the San Francisco area and this fit the bill. We stayed on the third floor in a king on the street side. The hotel is right on the street but we ran the air conditioning and did not have a problem with noise. If you get a room on the parking lot side it should be quiet. Also planes flying over are not a problem. The the BART station is a little over a mile away at a shopping mall and you can park there for $* and take a train to downtown SF for $* each and it takes about 25 minutes - definitely the way to go because driving in SF is difficult and parking is nearly impossible. If you pay to park it is expensive. The BART is clean, well kept, and even at rush hour not very busy. The room had a somewhat strange odor but we got used to it and it didn't really bother us. They have USA todays but they run out early. The breakfast is sparse - cereal, some fruit, juice, coffee (pretty bad), milk, danish. but is well stocked. They keep up with the food supply. People are friendly and helpful. Seemed like a safe neighborhood. Parking is in the back and we never had a problem getting a spot. Internet was solid. All in all not bad.

For the price the place is a good deal. I have stayed there three times with in the past 2 years (visiting family in San Bruno). I have enjoyed this hotel and will probably stay there again if I need to go to San Bruno. The staff has always been very professional and helpful. The room has always been clean. On this last visit I brought my own towels theirs seem to be washed in tons of Bleach and a little too hard on my sensitive skin (psoriasis). Parking has never been a problem. This place has security cameras in the parking lot and hallways which gives you that extra sense of security. It?s close to highway 101 and 280 and a great breakfast spot which I highly recommend (Millbrae House of Pancakes). Like I said for the price is not a bad deal.
