The lady at the front desk was very helpful. She swiftly took us to a new room when she noticed our TV wasn't working and gave us a short cut for the Oglebay Christmas lights. If I knew her name I would mention it. And kudos to the people who scraped the snow. Even at 6 a.m., that was a most welcome sound.

For the price, compared to other hotels, this was very nice. Our room was fine, front desk staff was nice, breakfast was not too skimpy. The only complaint is the interior hall walls appear to be paper thin. Could hear other guests' conversations in the hall, and them entering and exiting their rooms. Glad the hotel wasn't at full capacity or it would have been very annoying. But road noise wasn't bad, maybe because we were not on the side facing Interstate 70.

The staff, especially the front desk folks here were so rude. They showed zero willingness to help us out. They show no respect to their customers, and treated us like truant kids. They belong at some bootcamp where they can boss people around. They shouldnt be working at a place where its necessary to treat people with politeness. They DONT know what the word Service means.

We made the mistake of booking 2 days at the motel, because the location was convenient. But we were met with extremely unfriendly people both times. Both women were extremely rude, showed no intention of helping, and treated us very badly, who cut us off multiple times even before we could finish what we had to say. They seemed to treat the other people around pretty good. So it's obvious they're prejudiced against asians. We were extremely hurt and offended. This hotel shows consistency in racial prejudice. So if youre an asian, or middle eastern and if you like to be treted like a person, DONT even think of going there.

This was by far the most comfortable and relaxing hotel we have ever stayed in (including resorts and suites). We stayed in a N/S King room and it was awesome. The bed was so comfortable, we were seriously trying to figure a way to smuggle it through the front door and into the car (just kidding). I was thinking, "all they need is a cookie on the pillow", like at the Doubletree and we'd be Hampton Inn addicts for life! Also, it was very easy to regulate the temperature. We travel quite frequently, and this is always a problem. It is either way too hot, or too cold--and always hard to adjust. The digital thermostat made this very easy to do. The shower had a variety of settings, this was also very enjoyable. The hot breakfast was good, though there could have been a few more items available. Heck, we were right next to a Bob Evans though...what more can you ask for?
