Forget about the waterfront, a naval base is next door, but the hotel has FREE, in-room wifi, HBO and BBC World. Dinner in is a bit sparse if you're hungry, but good; breakfast isn't worth the time to wait for the elevator -- go to the cake place on the corner (left out the front door). The staff are very helpful and friendly, but the hotel is a bit worn and just feels cheap. Beds are comfy, towels are frayed, but clean and everything works...though it may take you a bit to figure out that the TV power switch is on the wall. There is nothing in the room to tell you about hotel amenities or services (as in like, a book or brochure), but you'll figure it.
If you want something decent, well-located and not too expensive, this will do, but you'll feel like you should have paid about $* less a night. The bright and cheery staff do make up for it though: A plus for them.
