We were blown away by the service and the helpful employees at the Swiss Village Inn. Larry was at the front desk and he was a wealth of information on places to eat and places to visit. The room was super clean as were the grounds. The noise level for being fully booked was nothing! If you want a quiet, clean and friendly place to stay - this is it!

The front desk greeted me by name as I walked in with a welcoming smile. Very helpful with local details like the holiday schedule and the best foods in the area. The room was clean, roomy and nicely decorated. The room did not have a hair dryer but everything else I needed was there.

We stayed here just for the weekend when we came to enjoy the fall colors -- beautiful this time of year! We were a little concerned after reading the previous reviews, but a friend had recommended this hotel so we decided to try it. The people couldn't have been friendlier, and when we mentioned our concerns about the reviews they told me that the hotel was under new ownership for the last couple of months and things have really changed around there. The rooms were ordinary but totally clean, and the breakfast was simple. There's a great restaurant next door with really good fried stuff (my favorite!). I can't say for sure that we'll be back in town, but if we are this is as good a choice as any, and you can't beat the price!

GM was rude and hateful. Staff less than friendly. Continental breakfast consisted of two kinds of flake cereal, but I couldn't find the milk. Carpet in room felt like it had recently been flooded, kind of sticky and damp. Think I'll find another place next time. But it was cheap.
