The room was really spacious, but I was disappointed in the fact that there was no coffee pot, free coffee anywhere, or even a fridge in the room. Doubt that I'll be back now that I've seen the other places my bowling buddies were staying.

The Sands Regency is a very nice place to stay. The check in was fast and friendly, room was very clean and it was a large room, bed was very comfortable, the food is good. Housekeeping did a fast & good job cleaning the rooms quickly. I liked the fact that the Sands is in walking distance to the casino's so if you decide to go to a show or just want to go sit someplace and have a few drinks, you don't have to worry about driving anyplace.

Ok, how about D-U-M-P? Seriously, I’ve been in Motel 6s that were better appointed. When was the last time you stayed in a hotel that had no iron or ironing board? I had to ask for one and then the dope that delivered it made me SIGN for it! (What was I going to do? Put an ironing board in my carry on luggage?) If you’re like me and don’t gamble, there ain’t a lot to do in Reno. The preprogrammed TV channels are awful, so want to watch a movie? You’ll either have to put up a $* cash deposit or go downstairs and let the toothless weirdos at the front desk swipe your credit card (so why did I give them a credit card when I checked in- what exactly did they do with it?) The room was dirty, the bedding uncomfortable, the lighting almost none existent and overall not some place you want to hang out. If I ever need to go to Reno again, I’ll stay at Siena. Or maybe one of the many flophouses that have monthly rates- I’m sure the experience would be equivalent. BTW: the real hotel looks nothing like the travel agency picutre.

At check in the hotel is nice easy to find your way around and friendly front desk staff . The longer u stay the more little quirks and issues u notice . The elevators are slow and we avoided using one in particular for fear it would fail. The rooms are nice but the water pressure in the shower fluctuates a little odd. The staff is friendly during the day as the day gets later there manners disappear and are replaced by unattentiveness , eyerolling and sarcasm. More then once we encountered patrons who made us uncomfortable with their lewd and akward comments . We had a good trip despite these things however on our next trip we will be giving another place a try
