Physically, this hotel is a "What you see is what you get". But it far exceeds anything I've ever seen when it comes to customer service. Our room was very basic, but clean. The front desk staff was THE BEST! We arrived late, and the desk clerk stayed for us. We needed transportation to downtown, the front desk clerk arranged it. We needed long term parking, and guess what? The same front desk clerk arranged for that too! He even recommended a place for us to get a bite to eat. We travel a lot, and this was the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed at. I must advise, that we stayed there the first weekend of Mardi Gras, and left our car there for a week while we were on a cruise. Our car was secure the entire time and at no time did I feel uneasy while we were there.

WE STAYED ON THE 2nd FLOOR IN THE BACK. THE OUTSIDE LIGHT AT OUR ROOM DID NOT WORK IT WAS VERY DARK. WE HADE TO GO TO THE OFFICE EVERY NIGHT WHEN WE CAME IN TO GET TOWELS. A COUPLE OF NIGHTS THEY TOLD US THEY DID NOT HAVE ANY TOWELS. THEY ALWAYS SAID THAT THE CLEAN UP CREW HAD THEM BUT WENEVER SAW A CLEAN UP CREW. BUT WE WERE ALSO GLAD THAT THE PEOPLE RUNNINGTHE PLACE WERE NOT GOING IN OUR ROOM. THE DOORS ALSO HAD NO SECURITY LOCKS ON THEM DID NOT FEEL SAFE AT ALL. THE PARKING LOT WAS AN ALL NIGHT PARTY PLACE.

Just by the looks of the outside of the hotel I almost didn't even go in.... When I arrived the guy behind the counter asked "what's up?" I said I have a reservation? So, before I agreed to stay I asked to see a room....The rooms were disgusting! I may be mistaken but I think they rent the rooms by the hour? Needless to say we did not stay... We almost couldn't find a room anywhere because it was Mardi Gras & there weren't many options available. I called you the next morning & the lady I spoke with was very helpful by calling the hotel & getting a refund. I would recommend if you do not want to lose business that you go see the hotels yourself before putting them on your site....This will surely make me think twice before using this site again. I have done alot of trips with Travel agency & have not had any problems like this before but once is enough..

The whole experience was horrible. To some it up I would say "Roach Motel" I was totally misled by the pics on the internet. They never show you the exterior of the building for a reason. When we arrived we were told "If you booked through Travel agency your reservation has been was cancelled due to overbooking." And this was during Mardi Gras!!! After sitting in the makeshift lobby for an hour calling Travel agency we finally got a room. As we walk up the rusty staircase to our room we view rooms through the window that apppear to have people liing in them for long periods of time. Men on the balcony gawking at women. The rooms appear to be clean but thats the best I can say!! After about 30 minutes in the room we left and went to Days Inn. Travel agency refunded the money for the hotel which was the same price that the hotel was charging. I thought Travel agency was used to get discounts!!!!

The airport Inn and Suites IS near the airport. (That's the only thing it has going for it.)We paid $89. plus taxes (so closer to $*.) to book through Travel agency. When we arrived, the sign on the front door said, "Managers Special. $*." We asked if we could have that price; but were told that we were stuck with the price negotiated on line. Fine. We were tired and just wanted to get to sleep for a 3 AM wakeup call. WHAT? No phones in the room? so No wake up calls? (They did give us an alarm clock that didn't work which we traded in for one that did work eventually.) To get to the room, we drove through a dump truck parking lot (seriously),waded through standing water in the parking lot to the room with the number askew on the door. The door jam looked like someone had tried to break the door down and then to discover "No microwave? No rerigerator? and fuzzy TV!" and I had to put a fresh roll of toilet paper on the holder. I will NEVER book thru Travel agency again. When I called to ask about the price before we actually checked in the guy on the phone, who sounded like he was in Indonesia, said "Sorry. I cannot help you." I'll book thru Expedia "Where they make it right."
