stayed one night & it was one night too many, room was smelly, noisy, nothing was mentioned about being on a major route for the fire department which had endless calls thru the night, no screens on the windows, noisy generator running all night outside window, freeky pictures in the room, no coffee machine, hairs left in the sink and tub, nasty, over priced would not recommed to anyone. would never consider a return visit

We just returned from a week's stay at the Arctic Club Hotel and were very pleased with our accommodations. As advertised, it's a historic building which has been beautifully restored. The rooms are authentically decorated back to the time when it was a men's club during the gold rush days in the early 1900's. Our rooms had spacious bathrooms and the beds were great. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We did have an issue with one of our rooms which was a queen bed with a sleeper sofa. The room was too small to open the sleeper bed without moving other furniture out of the way. We requested a new room and were moved as soon as another one was available. There is a pool table and two computers for guest use in the lobby which is nice for the kids. Both are located in the bar area so they are off limits to minors after 3pm. We just readjusted our schedule so we spent time there in the mornings instead of the evenings. Overall, it's a great place to stay in Seattle.

My fiance and I LOVED our stay at the Arctic Club Hotel. Our room was a gorgeous corner room with high-ceilings and windows that extended almost the entire length of the wall. The whirlpool was soooo relaxing, and then the huge fluffy bed just was the icing on the cake. The complimentary Neutrogena products were nice too. A huge plus was the hotel staff. The man that checked us in was amazingly pleasant and helpful when I returned to ask for late-night dinner tips. I returned to the front desk 2 more times for tips during our stay, and they never steered me wrong. I have to emphasize that being vegetarians in a new town, I really appreciated their help and insight. Also - the entire ambiance of the hotel was just fantastic. The dim lighting, soft music, and comfortable common areas really added to the fun. It was incredible to learn about the amount of history the club has and see photos of the "early years." This might not be as wonderful if you're packing strollers, kids and such, but for me, as part of a young couple, this was the best hotel I've ever been to. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed in this hotel for four nights and it was outstanding! The rooms are large with very comfortable beds and many nice features. The staff was very helpful and the hotel offers an excellent restaurant and bar. This hotel is located about four blocks from waterfront restaurants and attractions. There is an underground bus stop in the next block that has free shuttles to downtown shopping and the monorail to the Space Needle. You can easily walk to many famous spots in Seattle from this location. We were very pleased with our stay at the Arctic Club Hotel.

I stayed at the Artic Club in September 2009. The people working in the hotel could not have been nicer, everyone was extremely helpful and considerate. The hotel is dark but has a cozy atmosphere. The detail and charm makes this hotel particularly memorable; it's a step back in time with modern conveniences for additional comfort. The location is great and the beds are amazingly comfortable; it was difficult to get out of bed in the morning. The hotel is downtown and there is noise, it wasn't anything that kept me up at night, but you will be aware. Yes, the fee for parking is outrageous, but the price of the room made up for it. The workout room is small but practical. The food in the restaurant was excellent. If you don't want to stay in a sterile "cookie cutter" hotel, this is the place for you. I would highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again.
