Our experience at the Blakely last weekend was exceptional. The foyer is small and the hallways are narrow, but our room, or really rooms, were spacious, especially by NYC standards. We stayed in a suite, which is really worth the extra money. The sitting room had (another) large TV, big comfy couch and two chairs, with a door between. I napped while my husband watched the game. The mini-bar was reasonably priced (first time I think I ever eaten anything from one), the refrigerator large enough for a bag of ice. The bathroom shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. My only suggestions would be room darkening blinds and an extra blanket.

I was very impressed with the Blakely. I planned a vacation to New York for my sisters birthday. I needed a room that would be large enough for my sister and her husband and our sister in law and myself. This "suite" was VERY roomy. The accommodations worked out perfectly! I have stayed in Manhatten before and paid double for 1/2 the room we got at the Blakely. I would definitely recommend this hotel..and I WILL stay there again! The location was excellent for site-seeing.

We stayed here Dec 2009 and loved it..The hotel was close to everything we needed...We could walk all over and enjoy the sights then come back to a beautiful room and really relax to get ready for the next day of sightseeing..We are going to return in the summer and stay at this hotel...It's worth every penny!!!!

Excellent place to stay. Great location/walking distance to many main attractions. Excellent staff service, the continental breakfast was very good, and the room had a refrigerator. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the room was very clean. The bathroom was a great size and the water pressure in the shower was great. I would recommend the Blakely Hotel and would definitely stay there again. After checkout, they held our luggage and then let us change there to get ready for the airport. Overall, just a great, smaller hotel to stay at! :)

Not a glitzy hotel...but very well appointed., clean and modern. We had the 525 sq. ft. suite, which was super large even by NY standards.. Great Location and helpful staff. Walking distance to Central Park, Theatre District and 5th Ave. Shopping. Subway stop at the end of the street. Great coffee shop across the street. Would stay here again in a heartbeat....
