This is not the first time we have stayed at the Fairmont San Jose. It is a very nice hotel with great service. The rooms are clean and the staff met all of our needs. Our family especially enjoyed lunch by the pool. It is located down town, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and the convention center.

Went here for a conference. Wanted to pay with debit and was notified that there would be an additional charge of $* per night hold by paying with debit. It's cash! Anyway, room was spacious and clean. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin. Hot water sucks in showers. Room service delivery fee is $* plus 22% automatic gratuity. Wi-fi is $* per 24 hours. Business center charges $* to print one page. That's AFTER you log in to their system and drop a $* hold on a major card; then, minimum charge for using their computer to print is $*. You can self-park or use valet. I chose self-park in parking garage a hike away. I didn't go in and out. Drove up and parked overnight. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I would stay somewhere else where at least parking and wi-fi are free. It was not a pleasant business trip at the Fairmont San Jose.
