I stayed here for just one night on a business trip last week. The location was great, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The rooftop bar/lounge is great and has very impressive views. I enjoyed a nice breakfast watching the sun come up over the city in the lounge. The rooms seemed outdated and are in need of a renovation, however the beds were very comfortable and the rooms do have kitchenettes.

This is one of the finest hotels in New York. Rooms are excellent, and interior is luxurious. Unfortunately staffs are not trained well to its mark. The management fails to meet the expectations of its standards. I had a unpleasant experience with housekeeping. Unclean towels, improperly serviced room, service calls and visit disturbing individual privacy. I also had kind of unpleasant experience upstairs restaurant. Hotel has newest technology of touch screen, Unfortunately technicians/ enggs had no clue how to repair it. if it fails. Despite paying a high cost per night for business cum leisure trip for 8 night stay and reporting 3-4 formal request as complain, I didn`t received even a courtesy call from Management to let me know they care about it. Overall I do agree that that suite and interior is excellent with some good staff but management not to expectations and lack of well trained staff leaves you an unpleasant stay.

This is one of the finest hotels in New York. Rooms are excellent, and interior is luxurious. Unfortunately staffs are not trained well to its mark. The management fails to meet the expectations of its standards. I had a horrible experience with housekeeping. Unclean towels, improperly serviced room, service calls and visit disturbing individual privacy. I did report it. [ ?WHY? ] I also had kind of unpleasant experience upstairs restaurant. Sounds like bar tender were more interested in customer than the service they suppose to give everyone. [Good for few : P] Hotel has newest technology of touch screen. It’s highly invocative and costly. Unfortunately my touch screen was down for 4 days out of my 8 night stay. Unfortunately technician/ engg had no clue how to repair it. (Windows 7) Hello,... I paid a very high cost per night for 8 night business cum leisure trip. So I did reported 3-4 formal request as complain. Worst of worst I didn`t received even a courtesy call from any, any Manager to let me know they care about it. Overall I do agree that that suite and interior is excellent. Front desk personal are good and door man too. Not worth of paying 4 star cost and getting 2 star services.

We liked this older updated hotel. We didn't realize we would be staying in a suite with a kitchenette when we booked. It was roomy and seemed like being at home and was very comfortable. We only stayed one night after a long international flight, but it was the perfect place for us. Because of this we didn't visit the newly remodeled roof top lounge. We were just too tired. We were able to use the business center to get our boarding passes for the flight home the next day at no cost to us. WiFi was avaliable and internet was available. The only "complaint" was that the tv reception was not good, but someone did come to see about it. Perhaps a new tv is needed. We usually stay near Lincoln Center when in NY, but did like this hotel.
