This was our first trip to Vancouver and we needed a place for 2 nights before getting on a cruise. I found the Listel Hoteland we were on our way. The hotel is easily accessible by public transport (took a train then a bus). Vancouver is a very walkable downtown so we didn't take any transport once we got to the hotel. The staff was very friendly. I had a problem with my bill and it was resolved immediately with a smile. The room was sleek and modern and clean and the beds were very comfortable and nice. The toiletries were natural as the whole hotel is very dedicated to sustainability and recycling (bins in the room by the bathroom and the desk for recycling and trash). I really appreciate this approach! We did not use any of the hotel's facilities or restaurants but found lots of options in the immediate neighborhood to walk to (amazing Indian food right up the street). I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, convenient and affordable place to stay in walking distance of loads of attractions and amenities.

The zero waste policy means they provide soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner in dispensers in the bathroom. The room had a small fridge and there were lovely snacks and cold beverages available in the room. I loved the art that is all around the hotel. Great experience!

You get more than what you paid for. The location is perfect for exploring Vancouver and the hotel is a pleasant and interesting place to stay. The free internet and complimentary coffee (delivered to your room) were wonderful additions.
