The staff are what make this hotel excellent. They were so accommodating and helpful! Everyone from the front desk, to the shuttle drivers, to the spa personnel; they all were so nice & friendly. The view was beautiful from our balcony and everyone enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. I will definately return here in the future ! PS the free continental breakfast had a waffle maker- huge plus for me!

Stay her. period. The staff was the friendliest ever, the lodge has great views & good food. It's super confortable. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars was no guest laundry. Doing laundry at the laundromat in town meant fighting with college students working the slopes for the few machines that weren't broken...but then, that's the laundromat, not the lodge's problem...wish they had laundry though. Still...stay here, just plan on bringing enough clothes.

We stayed at this lodge for a wedding. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend. I was disappointed that the fireplace was broken. They told us at the time of check-in that all of the fireplaces had been broken for years. I wonder why they wouldn't be motivated to fix them? It would have changed the ambiance of the room. It's a little out of the way, so driving to downtown Breck was a little bit of a drag, but if you wanted to "get away," then it's just fine. Also, the open and closing of doors was a bit loud. We also stayed in a room right next to an entrance, so we heard this door open and closing all night (until 10, when they locked it).
