When I first arrived, they did not have my reservation. They then said they found it, but someone had canceled it. They reinstated the reservation. The hotel is no way a 2 1/2 star hotel; maybe a 1/2 star. It was terrible. The bathroom was dirty. The room had a stale smell to it. The walls were so thin you could hear everything. The pool was in the middle of the hotel, which caused all the noise from the kids to be in your room basically. No adults supervising the kids in the pool. It had people that lived there and were unbelievably loud. If families actually lived there, I never saw a parent only teenagers and kids running around being extremely LOUD. Next door to us was 2 teenagers that argued and screamed all night. When I attempted to call the front desk to complain, no one answered. This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. This hotel in no way met my standards or expectations. It was ridiculous. I was very disappointed that travelocity ranked this hotel as it did. The parking lot was snow packed. No attempt was made to clear the snow. Very disappointed.

01/17/2011Would never stay again. we had to change rooms 2 times. the 1rst room the sheets were torn and bathroom dirty, the 2nd room was dirty and the restroom again ...
Would NEVER stay again. we had to change rooms 2 times. the 1rst room the sheets were torn and bathroom dirty, the 2nd room was dirty and the restroom again was dirty and no knobs on the TV and no remote also the knobs on the shower were broken off. Also couldnt get extra towls. the 3rd room cause they didnt want us to check out was a little better. The didnt work and the iron board was nasty and so was the blow dryer. Thankfully we brought ours, the only thing that was good was the shower it worked very well. But up till almost midnight cause of kids running up and down the hall.

I reviewed all the other comments on this hotel and thought that it could not be as bad as everyone else wrote, but I was WRONG. This is definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I stayed there for 9 days and out of the 9 days, 3 times they did not even clean my room! I had to go to the front desk and ask for some clean towels. One of the three times, they told me that they did not have any towels (so my room was dirty, and no clean towels). And as for the swimming pool, well, it was freezing cold for about 6 out of 9 days. The atrium was also about 40 degrees which was not cool. Oh and the pool, well my kids found a chicken wing and 2 coke cans in the pool our first night. The pool area was pretty trashy with cigarette butts everywhere and empty beer cans laying around. I had to pick the chairs up out of the hot tub a couple of times. Another thing I didn't like was the pets in the building. Guests would be walking their dogs around the atrium and they would let them defecate and just leave it. I found two instance of this and one of them remained in the walkway for 7 days! (I counted.) And the other negative aspect was the club on site. On Sundays, it gets kinda crazy down there, but it isn't bad if you stay in your room. I didn't allow my kids to go to the pool on Sundays. When I checked out, I complained to the owner about them not cleaning my room. He said quote We had you on an every other day cleaning schedule. What kind-of hotel does this????

Regardless of what the other reviews were, we found the hotel to be accomodating. Yes, the facility could use an upgrade. Probably, at one time, this was a top of the line hotel. The pool looked clean and they offered a water slide that we could not find; however, for the price and a short stay, they offered what we needed, a bath/shower and a bed to sleep on. I would not have paid much more the hotel, but it really wasn't as bad as the other reviews, stated.
