All in all, this was a great hotel. The location was excellent; the Gateway Mall was one mile away, Temple Square was about half a mile away, and there were plenty of nearby dining options. The rooms were nice. The beds were clean and the sheets were soft. The towels in the bathroom were very soft. My only complaint is that the walls were a little thin, so you could hear your neighbors, and they could hear you. The continental breakfast was small, but by the same token, it was a small hotel. The food was fresh and filling. The staff was helpful in general. When we checked in, the front desk clerk was a little short, but we arrived later in the evening and I don't want to judge the whole hotel on one tired receptionist. The pool (outdoor) was closed for the winter, but it looked like it would be pleasant in the summer. In general, we felt secure at this hotel. The parking lot was right next to the road (instead of behind the building, as is the case with many other hotels), so we were wary of leaving any possessions in the car overnight. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable and affordable place to stay in a relatively centralized location!

I read the reviews before booking this room. The comments don't give a true picture of what is to be expected. The building is very old and is not renovated as stated. The complimentary breakfast was of poor quality. I will never stay here again. It is way overpriced not even as good as Motel6

Hotel totally misrepresented itself. Did not look like the website picture at all. NO HOT WATER. Staff not responsive to needs of guest. Car security does not exist. Travelling from out of town, very dissappointing travel stay. Would not recommend this facility.
