The Muse is everything it's promised to be - very hip and trendy, and rooms were very clean (always a top priority with me). Rooms are decorated in Art Deco chic. Didn't have much time to poke around hotel, since Times Square is literally a half-block away. Room on the 18th floor was surprising quiet for the hotel's location. The wine hour each evening was lovely - I invited a friend who I was going out with. Staff were friendly, neatly groomed at attentive. Room rates were amazingly low - but this was February. Go in the late spring or summer and you'll pay doulbe (at least). The luxury sheets and towels were a nice treat. Glad I tried it - especially when the rates were within my price point.

From the time I was greeted at the front desk and told that my room wasn't ready but the only ones that were available were more money than I probably wanted to spend and that my room would be one of the last to be cleaned, to the hole in the sheet and the lukewarm water in the shower, I would say that The Muse did not come up to expectations. At checkout I told the desk attendant about the hole and the water and she offered breakfast vouchers for me and my granddaughter, but we were on our way to the American Girl store and eating at the cafe there so that was a wasted gesture. I won't recommend this hotel and I certainly wouldn't spend my $* a night there again.

We stayed 3 nights here and were so amazed! Beautiful hotel with great amentities. It is half a block from Times Square, but tucked just far enough away for it to be quiet and pleasant there. The staff was always attentive - be it saying "Good Morning" or "Welcome Back", to anything you wanted they will get it for you. The room was extremely clean and very well decorated. We had a room with 2 double beds - the room was very large by NY standards. We will definetely stay here again - I will also recommend it to anyone staying in NY.

We went to the Muse to celebrate our anniversay. We went with friends for the weekend.The staff was very professional and friendy. The rooms were roomy and comfortable. Great customer service and great location close to restaurants and Time Square. We can't wait to go back. When we go to NYC we will stay at the Muse. It was truly a wonderful four star hotel.
