Small property right on the beach in a quiet spot of the island. Not too far from Christiansted and lovely restaurants and yet somewhat secluded. If you don't want to leave, you don't have to; the restaurant and bar are very respectable and have lots of locals coming here as well. The best feature - the warrm and helpful staff. The owners will even take you for a personally guided snorkel tour. A few of the waitstaff aren't always the most efficient but it's not for lack of trying. Would totally consider coming back here again for a restful vacation!

We just recently returned from an eight day stay here. We are very frequent travelers and I have yet to feel the need to post a review until now. Our stay at The Palms at Pelican Cove was truly exceptional. We have never experienced the hospitality we received here at any other resort. From the owners, Chuck and Joyce, to the general manager Julie, the restaurant/bar manager Conan, the bartender Jovan, Dicky at the front desk, to the restaurant staff and housekeeping, I can assure you that each and everyone will go out of their way to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. By the end of our trip we felt more like friends, than guests. I’m not sure how many places you can go where the owner of the resort will personally take you out to snorkel and show you the reef. This is in addition to his personal advice on nearly every activity we had planned. He even went so far as to personally escort us to Saint Thomas on a day he had business there. I’m not saying that would be the case during everyone’s visit, but it is safe to say that you will be well taken care of. The staff here truly wants you to have the time of your life. This is all in addition to the fact that this is a wonderful resort, on a beautiful beach, in a beautiful part of the world. You would be lucky to spend some time here. We had such a great trip, that despite our previous ambitions to see the world and never return to the same place twice, we we will definitely be returning to the Palms in the future. Our thanks to each and everyone, we will see you again soon.

WOW! My wife and I went expecting Chuck, the owner to take us snorkeling. Well, he did that and what an experience. That alone made this vacation something to remember. Chuck and his wife Joyce spent an evening with my wife and I and we felt as though we were with friends. He owns a private plane and had to make a trip to St. Thomas and graciously took us along! That alone saved us $* - plus we had the awesome experience in riding in Chuck's plane. The whole staff at The Palms was helpful and pampered us completely. The grounds are very well maintained and the beaches are beautiful. Our room opened up to the beach and we felt as though we were the sole owners of our little area in paradise. The restaurant was excellent providing the best steak we've ever had. The ribs were unbelievable. The pool was kept clean and was refreshing. The bar in the open breezeway was fun to be at with some interesting and very nice characters. My wife and I will no doubt be back. I'm just wondering how Chuck, Joyce and his staff can top this last vacation. We'll see for sure!

For me, it was love at first sight. The Palms is perfect! The room was lovely--40 feet from the ocean. The staff were so friendly--they literally treat you like one of the family. Spent two weeks and left with many new friends. I did two 2-tank dives and actually saw more sea life snorkeling on the reef right in front of the hotel. Chuck, the owner, is always ready to give you a snorkel tour and find interesting creatures for you to see and hold. The restaurant is exceptional and the bar menu has one of the best burgers you will ever eat. Great pool. Plus, it's called Pelican Cove for a reason. Eating a delicious breakfast seaside while watching the pelicans dive for their breakfast is habit forming. Plus iguanas, geckos, herons, frigates, yellow-crested night heron who took a bath in the pool while I watched, hummingbirds, and a virtual botanical garden of palms, trees and flowering shrubs and plants of all kinds. Beautiful. And the grounds keepers keep it meticulously groomed. If you are looking for a mega-resort with a massive pool and a casino with lots of snooty people, this is not the place for you. If you want a great place to relax, enjoy a spectacular view, snorkel to your heart's content, and get genuine friendly service that is unsurpassed, this is the place to be. And if you're a trivia buff, join the locals on Monday nights. They'll be happy to have you sit in on one of their teams. Especially if you're good. Oh, I almost forgot. At night during the season, you can watch the sea turtles build their nests! And see the baby turtles hatch in October. Will definitely go back! Highly recommended! Huge halloween party scheduled. Wish I could be there...
