My wife and I stayed for 2 nights at the very overpriced and disorganized hotel. The waits at the desk took forever and the lines were all the way accross the lobby. We were told by the employees themselves that the reason was becouse most of the workers show up late and the current shifts just leave to go home and do not wait for their relief. One other thing we found particularly troubling was the staff were all selling us like used car salesmen a very overpriced limo service. They just about followed us up to our rooms to make the sale and were all very pushy. As for our room it was the smallest room we have ever stayed in and the price was sky high.It was also very dirty with scum and mold all over the bathroom we also found hair all over the dirty carpet. The ledges had dead flys and heavy dust.Bottem Line we will never stay here again and feel this place has really slipped especially with much lower quality staff from our stay in years past.

All I can say is I have nerver been to a hotel in which the entire staff hustles the guests and stalks them all over the lobby to sell them overpriced limo services. Its worse than walking into a used car lot. This practice is very unethical and it should not be encouraged by your hotel management as I have been told.I was sitting beside another guest who had the same problem and he said the staff receives kickbacks from the Limo drivers of 10-15 dollars per ride and the short manager from India was in on the action also.I find this very unethical towards your guests.

Room too small for two persons, I book by myself a standard room and I found 1 french bed impossible to share even with an humpa lumpa! Clean and refurbished, not very kind at reception desk and at concierge. But it's just few steps from Times square and Central Park is 10 min walking

We spent four nights at the Holiday Inn on 26th Street and loved it. Check in was lightning fast, the rooms were clean and bigger than I expected. The bed linens are wonderful and having two choices of pillows (soft or firm) was a nice added touch. I know that some people have complained about having to wait for an elevator in this hotel but during my stay, I never had to wait more than 3 or 4 minutes for a lift. I like the fact that they have a free 24-hour business center in the building. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. I will be staying at this hotel when I visit NYC again.
