the hotel was clean and comfortable.the only complaint is that the pipes in the bathroom were very loud and the bathroom was small. we had small children and the pool was great. the hot tub smelled awful so we didnt get in but all in all the room was clean and stylish, the tv was nice and the balconies are terrific. it was worth the money.the breakfast downstairs was delicious and had many choices on the buffet and the staff was excellent.

Our familly is pretty picky - we like to try new things and stay at different places. So we usually don't stay at the same hotels every time we go to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge for the Rod Run. However, our opinion about this hotel was the total opposite. We loved it!! The renovations were stunning! We would definitely stay at this hotel again without a second thought. The only thing bad I can say is it was a little ways off the beaten path. But it isn't a problem because the trollies drive right up to the hotel's doors very often. Everything was simply amazing; rooms, pool area, lounge, bar, resturant, etc. We WILL stay here again!

Our family of four took a spur of the moment mini-vacation to Gatlinburg and stayed at the Park Vista for two nights. I can be a bit of a hotel snob, so as we were driving through the touristy section of town, I became nervous as a lot of the hotels looked a bit sketchy. But driving up to the Park View took away any worries. I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel! It has the look and feel of a quiet hotel for business professionals, but they cater to families too. The rooms were good-sized, the beds were fluffy, white, and AMAZING, and since the hotel is a round high-rise, every room has a small balcony with a view. While it is located on a very steep hill set-back from the downtown activities, the trolley rolls right up to the door to pick up guests. As soon as we pulled up to the entrance, the porter introduced himself and asked if we needed assistance. Upon check-in we were given free breakfast vouchers (Sign-up for the Hilton Honors program online.) and complimentary cookies--warm, gooey, and delicious. My two little boys were instantly impressed with the rapid pod-like trio of elevators and the case filled with entertaining, colorful birds. They also enjoyed the indoor pools (yes, plural) and water slides (again, plural). The pools ranged from a beach-access style 1' deep with a little waterfall, to a 3-5' section with a large, leafy tree water slide. Since it was an especially hot weekend in July, they didn't get a chance to enjoy the playground right outside of the poolroom. The exercise facility is adjacent to the pool and has plenty of nice equipment. Everyone on staff was very helpful and radiated that Southern hospitality that you love to experience

My husband and I and our 2 children , 11 and 14, had the best time at the Park Vista! The hotel over looks the village of Gaitlinburg and has breath taking views of he Smokey Mountains. The town offers a trolley service which we thought was super convenient. The fitness center at the hotel was fabulous. The foyer, wi-fi center and bar are all gorgeous. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable! We would stay again for sure!

My wife and I booked the hotel as part of a trip to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We expected a little bit of construction, a beautiful view of the mountains, a nice pool, and a comfortable stay. BE WARNED, the construction work is EXTENSIVE! Probably 75% of the rooms were being gutted while we were there in the middle of May. Quite frankly, my wife and I were shocked that the hotel would still charge such a high price for living in a construction zone. Also, the pool was closed, and there are apparently no free ammenities (wifi is $*/day). Breakfast is a steep $*/person buffet (though after expressing our extreme disappointment at the meager circumstances for the expense, the staff kindly gave us a complementary breakfast). I would recommend calling the hotel before booking and I would NOT stay at this hotel until all construction is completed, if ever again. The staff were as helpful as possible under difficult circumstances. The hotel is rather expensive compared to other options, with the only up-sides being the newly furnished clean room and beautiful mountain view (though even the view was partially obstructed by the cement half-wall railing on the very small balcony). If you stay at a hotel hoping for free ammenities, skip this one!
