This was our first stay at "the Poly", celebrating end of school for our 13-yr-old and Father's Day. Front desk was friendly and very helpful. The pool is good-sized and indoors, which helps with the WA weather - and the water is warm! Very clean facility. We found out that they're strict (yet friendly) with the family and grown-up hours of use - which we appreciated. No-one under 18 after 10 p.m., and never in the hot tub. We were in Rm 211, a one-bedroom suite - right off the elevator and near the game room with pool table, pinball, snack/beverage machines, etc. - perfect for our teenager. We had everything we needed, and the suite is very homey. The walk through the dunes to the beach is absolutely delightful. Nice grounds for pets to enjoy, as well, and very clean. Only downside is the onsite restaurant, Mariah's. We weren't too pleased with our food, but maybe our expectations were too high. Perhaps simpler meal choices are better here - our salad, our dungeness/artichoke dip appetizer, and the clam chowder and baked potatoe soup were tasty. Not so great on the prime rib, clam strips (frozen and mushy), or the Maui chicken (too saucy), which seemed like an easy enough dish. Must say, in their favor, that the service was friendly and very attentive. We would try again with simpler menu choices. All in all, a great weekend get-away. We WILL be back!

We couldn't have asked for a better staff or room. XYZ was very accomodating when we found out we would be without power for a little while (no fault of their own). The pool is a warm 90 degrees and beautifully kept. The grounds are georgeous with lush green grass, plenty of pet areas, trails to the beach, and a park for basketball, tetherball, horseshoes, volleyball, and a swing. We saw deer everyday and enjoyed the continental breakfast every morning. Mariah's is a restaurant in the front of the hotel and serves up a mean rib eye steak dinner ! Housekeeping and maintenance personnel are friendly and helpful. We will definately go back. This is a great place to feed the soul and calm the mind.......

Last year my husband and I took our little ones to get out of town and give them a chance to swim. We stumbled upon this wonderful hotel. The heated pool was open until 12pm, the breakfast buffet is good, it is nice and quiet in the off season. We spent $80 a night and got a room with a kitchen, bedroom, and pullout sofa, with a side view of the ocean. Now I am planning a girls weekend at the end of march and I can't wait!
