  I have been to Grand Cayman many times. This was the first time I stayed on the North Sound. It was next to the only 18 hole golf course and had views on the north side out to Rum Point. It was about 1 mile from 7 mile beach and the hotel had a shuttle but, you should rent a car. There are a lot of great restaurants and shopping on Grand Cayman but, you really need a car if you want to see the Island. Taking taxis will be much more expensive than renting a car.The apartments were exceptional - big, full kitchens and excellent value. I read reviews about the resort and I knew it wasn't on 7 mike beach but, we had a great time and loved the quiet location. Restaurant was good, and the boat to stingray city left from the resorts dock. We rented jet skis a couple days. All in all - it was a good spot - we are going back.
