  What a fabulous job restoring this building. The rooms, originally built for condos offered a wonderful layout with extra space. Very comfortable. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly. The best location. But that's where the good points end. The roof top terrace offered zero shade so you had no relief from the hot sun. This made for a very short stay on the roof. There are wood floors throughout the unit. We were on the second floor and you could very easily hear the guests walking around in the room above; getting to sleep was troublesome while they were walking around late into the night. As well you heard people walking & talking in the hallways. We had water issues, specifically for the first 2 days nothing past the cold side of lukewarm. The last night scalding hot water, which made it impossible to shower. Hotel was booked for Memorial Day weekend. Found out no hot water heaters, they use a boiler. Very disappointing for the amount of money charged. Management's reduction in rate was laughable.
