We highly recommend this hotel. Rates were surprisingly reasonable - much less than we would have imagined after staying at this hotel. Decor, cleanliness, food and service staff are exemplary. While the lodging rate is very fair the meals can be pricey but the quality of the food justifies the price. Attached to the mall with the metro right outside the front door.

The room was a little on the small side, but comfy bed and location made up for that. The Metro is steps away and the mall is connected to the hotel. If I had taken advantage of the spa, I probably would have said excellent Value for Money; but hey it's the Ritz. I did recommend the Ritz to a friend who also had a pleasant experience.

I generaly do not pay to stay in a Ritz Carlton when we travel, but the price was tempting this time and I definitely didn't regret my choice. When the staff falls over themselves to serve you, as they did here, the visit is memorable. We would pick this hotel on our next visit. Adjoining a mall and a Metro stop added so much convenience, we were spoiled. Dick D. Brookfield, WI

Our stay at the Ritz we thought would be close to excellent, but we were let down with the room they gave us. We heard the elevator go up and down all night. This was very unpleasant sleep. Also, if you want to be in the heart of it all, this is not the place to stay. That is if you are sight seeing DC.

Wonderful place to stay! The staff was very helpful and accomodating to us. It was very handy to have the Fashion Centre Mall next door, as well as many other stores, resturants within walking distance. It does cost extra to rent a fridge and microwave, which is very handy to have when you are with children. Also, make sure you provide your own bottled water, as they charge for this.
