01/01/2011Great place! pet friendly, beautiful setting on both sides of river, full hot breakfast that varied each day, close to shopping and downtown. we would definitely stay there again!

Family hotel in Bend was a great time

Just took the family to this resort in Bend. All good value - rooms ( like a condo) overlooked the river and golf course. Pool for young ones to play. River trips. Hikes in the woods. Breakfast buffet was included so that worked real well for us all - and it had protein - eggs and yogurts - not just carbs.

Stayed there a lot in the mid 90's in it's prime. It's a beautiful property but needs a good cleaning and updating. Stayed there April of last year and it was smelly, old and had seen better days. The "heated" indoor pool was not heated.

No complaints at all about the Riverhouse Hotel in Bend, Oregon!!! We stayed with 2 small children, my wife and my elderly parents. Everyone enjoyed the comfort of the rooms, the pool and the full breakfast that was included in our rate. The breakfast was better than most we have experienced at other “chain” hotels. The Riverhouse Hotel also had the friendliest and most professional staff that I have ever encountered, and I travel for business every week, even though this trip was strictly for pleasure with my family. The 2 guestrooms we stayed in were immaculately clean and very well kept. Each had all of the amenities that you would expect from a hotel of this caliber. The free high speed internet was definitely a plus and not always received these days. The value was excellent and the location was right on the edge of downtown Bend. Excellent views (and sounds) of the Deschutes River as well as close to some great shopping and eating establishment’s right in the heart of the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone heading to Bend, Oregon.
