The room was comfortable and clean. Yes, washrooms were small. Bed was nice and comfy. VONS next doors was fun and good food. The only negative I would say was our initial interaction with the front desk. We were there at 10:00am on a Saturday and we dropped off our bags and toured around the city. The lady at the front desk immediately said No WAY to any possible early check in. Check in is at 4:00pm. I thought that was pretty rude. A nicer thing to say would be, call us back around 1:00 pm and we will see if your room is ready. Other than that...trip was a nice.

Going through Travel agency has been good until this time. I searched rooms in Seattle and found the room I wanted for $* + tax. Sorry, the price is $* for that room (+tax and $* parking) I checked and every day that was the lowest price for 2 seniors at the Roosevelt.. As for the hotel, it was fine. Not a luxury stay. The bathroom door missed the toilet seat by a 16th of an inch when opened. The whole bathroom was the smallest I have seen in many years of travel.

I stayed at the Roosevelt for a business meeting in Seattle. The meeting was at the Grand Hyatt, the Sheraton, and the Washington Convention Center, all of which were so close to the Roosevelt, it couldn't have been better. While my colleagues were paying $200 per night, I had very similar accommodations at a much better price. The GrayLine Downtown Airporter stop is directly across the street from the Roosevelt at the Grand Hyatt which made it extremely convenient transportation to and from the airport. I would definitely stay at the Roosevelt again. One of the elevators was out during my stay which made for a few long waits to leave or return to my room, but hopefully that is a temporary issue.

This is the fourth hotel I have stayed at in this location which is close to everything, even Safeco Field is within walking distance. I have stayed at the Mayflower, Olympic Plaza, & the Renaissance hotels - all were good. However, for my next trip to Seattle I will opt to stay at the Roosevelt Hotel. It is least expensive then the others, just as clean, if not cleaner and who needs a hugh room. I found the room more than adequate for our needs. When I seek a hotel, I first check the location, then I check the price, and finally I read other reviews before making a decision. For Seattle, for me and my family, the Roosevelt is the best so far.
