This location is great, the rooms large, but the hotel itself feels tired and dated. The windows on our French doors had not been washed for quite some time. They have a refrigerator in the room - under the sink in the bathroom. I would rate this hotel more of a 3 3 1/2 star - definitely not a 4 or 5.

Really nice hotel. Got a complimentary upgrade to a suite. Convenient location for us. Desk clerk had a cold, but so far we didn't seem to catch it. We've eaten in the restaurant before and it was great.

We were quite exhausted from college touring when we arrived at the Siena. The front desk staff were very friendly and quite efficient. The rooms are quite large and really clean. We went down to the bar for a pre-dinner drink and had an excellent champagne cocktail as recommended by the bartender. We then had a fantastic dinner in the Hotel's Italian restaurant. I was impressed with the restaurants extensive incorporation of local farm products. I wish I were in Chapel Hill more often so that I could revisit the hotel and restaurant, they were that good.

Fabulous hotel. Great beds. The lobby is small but intimate. The bar right inside the door is odd, but guests and staff are so engaging, it is like visiting a friend. Staff was helpful and gave us great ideas for restaurants and museums in the area. Will stay there again. Hopefully the Tarhills will beat Duke the next time. The only thing missing is a fitness center in the hotel.
