Our fault - waited too long to reserve a room for Thanksgiving weekend, but had I known this hotel was like it turned out, I would have continued to look. "Theme" rooms mean pictures painted on walls...killed spider in bathroom 1st thing. The only comfortable(?) thing to sit on was the bed - had 2 extremely uncomfortable straight back chairs other than that. Bed was stuck back in a hole, with no lights anywhere near - had to turn all lights off and use tv as light to get in bed, then throw the remote in the floor because no place to put it. Bed was kinda comfortable but pillows were flat enough you could almost read through - would have been better to wad up a towel or my coat. My husband and I are not large people and the bathroom was so that 1 could get in and you really didn't have room to turn around. Refrigerator in room coulda been used as a cabinet - as it didn't work either. Then there was breakfast - the absolute worse hotel continental breakfast EVER. Scrambled eggs(?), biscuits and gravy(?), waffles...eggs absolutely tasteless, gravy tasted like glue - no meat. NEVER will stay here again - would rather stay in another town and drive than stay here. out of 5 stars - give maybe -5

On the positive side the beds were comfortable and all the basic ammenities were available. On the negative side - this place does take pets so if possible you might want to request a room with no furry friends as neighbors. The ones next to us barked incessantly every time someone walked down the hall. Also, the housekeeping staff started knocking on our door before 9 every morning. They were extremely loud out in the hallways - sleeping in was impossible. The TV was TINY - impossible to see from both beds! The lobby for check in is not clearly marked and was difficult to find. On the neutral side - the pools/hot tubs were nothing fancy but the temperature was good - could have used more chairs to sit in to watch the kids, the breakfast had a fairly good variety but the music was too loud. I wouldn't pay the full price but the price going through this side was a good value.

The hotel staff was extremely nice and friendly upon checkin. I booked the room for 2 adults and 2 kids and had 2 extra great neices also made the trip and there was no extra fee for them. The queen beds were very comfortable. Only issue with room was very little room between beds and tv to walk. bathroom was small - tub commode and clearance for the door. vanitly was outside in the room which was nice. indoor pool and hot tub was nice but it was very loud and noisy in there. breakfast was good. overall a great experience.

The facilities were very clean and the employees were accommodating. The pool in our building was closed for maintenance; we used the pool in the adjacent building. The pool was great for our five-year old granddaughter. The breakfast was hot and the dishes were filled immediately. Singers provided music during the breakfast time. I would definitely stay here again.
