  I had a wonderful time while at the Stratford Atlanta, the staff was great and the new management has made lots of improvements to the hotel. Was clean, comfortable and we just loved staying there.

  I have used this place as a good place to stay on short trips to Atlanta as it has a very fair price. Location is near grocery store and it is a good place to stay at nights where it is best buy in Atlata Midtown, only short distance from Atlanta Downtown, right beside a beautiful park.

  I was going to a couple football games for the weekend with a friend and just wanted somewhere cheap and somewhat close to downtown. The hotel is located right outside of downtown but right in the middle of the ghetto. We started driving through the ghetto wondering if we made a wrong turn and there was the hotel right in the middle. Not the safest place in ATL for sure. Beggers walking the streets and coming up to you in the parking lot. The rooms are very small and you can barely move in the shower. Just a lot of sketchy people and activities in this area. When we came in Saturday night and got off the elevator on the 4th floor (which is the only smoking rooms in the hotel, 1st 3 floors are non-smoking) all you could smell was marijuana. I've never entered a hotel that smelt the way this one did. I guess you live and learn. I learned I won't be returning to this hotel!
