This was our first time in Vegas so we didn't know what to expect. We stayed in Venenzia (spelling) Tower and it was huge. I loved the deep tub and seperate toilet area water pressure is good, but shower knob is hard to regulate temp at first.. Our room didn't have a view of the strip, but one was offered to us. Bed was soft, great for me but not for hubby and had enough pillows. Rooms are very spacious and well kept, and we did not hear any noise from other rooms at all. Pool area had 2 hot tubs which were on the smaller side, but it provided an intimate setting. Beautiful sculpters throughout the property and anywhere you looked you would find an employee cleaning something. We had no lines for check-in or out which was great. Located near the middle of the strip, it was an easy but at times a long walk to either end of the strip. There is a Wal-greens at the Palazzo, which is all the same resort just a different tower, and I would suggest buying snacks and drinks there, unless you have money to burn. The Grand Lux Cafe in the Venetian has a breakfast buffet for $* per person and has fruit, meats, eggs, omlets, pastries, and cereal. Service was nice and the food was good, but if you want pancakes or things like that than you have to order from the menu. I would bring a good comfy pair of walking shoes, since the place is like a maze and rooms are a good distance away from the casinos and shops. Taxis are available at the hotels and a driver told me that they will not stop if you try to flag them down on the strip.

we love the room. It was nice and spacious and the staff was very accomodating. The bathroom was awesome! It had so much room and I loved the fact that it had mirrors all over so you could do your hair and makeup easily with a lot of light and such. The bed seemed a little hard with not a lot of plush comfort and same with the pillows but that would be my only complaint. I was very happy with our 4 day stay and would definitely stay there again!

Our stay was in late Feb. 2011. My wife and I had a great time at the Venetian. Check- in was very easy and fast. Got a great room on the 33rd floor. (Slip a 20 between your ID and Credit Card). Room was large and clean with a 1/2 view of the strip. Everyone at the hotel was more then helpful when asked. Housekeeping brought extra towels within the hour of asking. The bed was VERY comfortable. Yes there is no coffee maker and you can't put anything in the small frig and there is a daily resort fee but read the reviews and if you can't live without these items then stay somwhere else. We had one minor problem with the door key but that was it. We did the indoor gondola boat ride and it was very nice. (Go late, after 10pm and you might get the private ride for the lower price.) So many things to do inside the Venetian you never have to leave. Shops,Art displays,Food,Casino,Pools,Gym and much more. (We did not use the pool but we walked the grounds and found it very nice. Did not use or see the gym.) If you want to walk the strip or go to another hotel the Venetian is some what in the middle of the action. Hoover Dam 30 min. away. MUST SEE !! History channels Pawn Stars store 10 min. drive. (rent a car) Enjoy the free water shows. Vegas is a busy place. If you don't mind crowds then go have fun fun fun. Remember.....Life is what YOU make of it. (Travel agency gets an A+ for ease of trip on this one. Thanks)
