I was pleasantly surprised by the Virginian Suites. The suite was huge and well laid out, with nearly a full-size walk-in closet to boot. It is a short cab drive from Reagan Airport, and handy to locations in either Arlington or D.C.

This hotel was okay. We stayed for 5 days and spent most of our time in downtown DC. There is a shuttle that runs to the nearby metro station but it only ran at certain times throughout the day. It stopped at 7:30 which normally meant we were walking back to our room late at night. The room was okay, needed to be updated a little bit. Don't expect a great paint job, it didn't look very nice. The bathroom was small but useable. The size of the room was nice for a five day stay and the room was always clean. Don't expect to find to many places to eat a nice dinner at nearby, we did most of our dining in DC. Overall if you can get over the cosmetic part of the room it was an average place to stay.

We found the Virginian Suites to be a clean accomodation. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. They took the time to answer any and all questions which made traveling around Washington DC easier for us. Located in Georgetown section which is a beautiful area filled with young people.

The room was quite nice, linens were fresh, soft and replenished daily. A bit further to the Arlington Metro than the Rosslyn stop but no more than 15 minutes on foot to either. Shuttle runs back and forth to the Rosslyn stop frequently if you don't want to hike. Rosslyn stop has some shopping nearby so we opted to go to that side. There's some traffic noise being so close to the highway, and when DCA is landing south they fly pretty close to overhead, but the room was pretty quiet and there was no noise from the neighboring rooms. Bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and there was a nice kitchen. Staff was courteous, professional and had a lot of local knowledge. Location was not bad at all, with several restaurants within walking distance and Iwo Jima memorial and Arlington Cemetary are of course very close. Did not try their breakfasts, but did scout out the nice looking dining area. Will likely stay there again as it was a good balance of price, location and nice accommodations altogether.
