My wife asked for an upgrade to Ocean view room and Rowan, who checked us in obliged her for her Fri-Mon weekend escape. This is a big resort and you should expect weddings, business meetings and lots of people. When we wanted to see folks we ventured out to the pool and beach. When we wanted privacy we had room service dinner on our balcony. Excellent food quality for room service and mildly interesting wine list.The room was very nice. Our only complaint were expensive food and wine prices that are part of every resort worldwide. The resort restaurants menu were fine for 3 days but would be boring for longer times. Bottom line we enjoyed this expensive place.

This resort is very nice. We had an ocean front room with a balcony which was amazing. We ate lunch at Splash, the outdoor, pool area restaurant, and the food was good, but the service was poor, all 4 days we ate there. They automatically add 15% gratuity, and they obviously have no desire to earn more. The desserts in the coffee grounds cafe were excellent, but the service there was also rather slow. We also ate several meals at Rivals, the sports lounge, and the food and service were both good. Unfortunately, Hollywood has nothing to offer beyond this resort.
