I wish I could give more details about my room, but I didn't get past the front desk. I had booked a reservation with Travelocity and received confirmation of that reservation. When I arrived at the hotel, there was no record of my reservation and I was told that no rooms were available. The woman at the front desk acted flustered and a little annoyed with me, as she continued to check in other guests. She did call other hotels and found one with a room, but simply gave me the number to call and reserve myself. We ended up having to stay 20 minutes away, when the event we traveled there to attend was only minutes from The Tides. Felt that the hotel should have done more to help and offered some sort of compensation for the inconvenience.
