  We had just come from staying in the dorms at UO for IntroDUCKtion - they are not air conditoned, it is July, it is miserable! The air conditioning in our room here was like a dream come true. The owner and his family who live onsite were very welcoming offering us fruit and letting us check in at 11.30 in the morning (the sooner out of those dorm rooms, the better). But the room was so small that one person could hardly walk normally across the room; one almost had to rurn sideways - forget two abreat! It felt clostrophobic after awhile. The place was very clean but decorated kinda funky - black 'fridge, white microwave, ugly bedspreads.
