It is a clean, inexpensive hotel, breakfast is NOT included. But has a nice breakfast for $** or so. It is conveniently located and the kitchen facilities were also good: all necessary utensils were provided.

My wife and I used to live in Victoria and drove passed this hotel many times. We had the opportunity to stay there on a recent visit home, through travelocities secret hotel deals, and I must say we were pleasantly surprised, the rooms were clean and cozy and the staff were very friendly. The only down side is that there is a bar in the hotel and some of the patrons were noisy in the parking lot and some misguided soul spat on our car. But when brought to the staff attention they were very apologetic and even offered to clean it off. All in all a nice place to stay,the pool was good, and it has a gym and sauna which was a nice surprise.

We were somewhat cautious about staying at this hotel. It looked a little old in the photos but what a pleasant surprise! We arrived a day late due to a mix up with the ferry and expected to have forfeited that prepaid room money. Instead, the young man at the front desk told me they hadn't charged my credit card after all (room was "prepaid"), they had just cancelled the reservation. He let me add on an extra night at the same special "stay two and save" promotion. They had plenty of rooms, very clean and tidy. Very comfy bed. We would definitely stay again. There is a small dog park across the street. This hotel is in a residential neighborhood but our room was quiet.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! It is located less than a 5 minute drive from downtown which was convenient because I had the accessibility to downtown without paying downtown prices! The hotel also offers free wireless internet, and free parking. I stayed there during spring break and they had a special promotion on which included free hot breakfast as well! The rooms were absolutely spotless and looked like they had been renovated recently. The Front Desk staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. They even called me after I checked into to see if everything was okay with my room. The hotel is in a quiet residential neighbourhood and from parts of the hotel, you can get really nice views of the inner harbour and Gorge waterway. I think I might come back in the summer and bring my bike as it is very near cycling trails and there are kayak rentals a couple of blocks away. I also saw harbour ferries going past that I want to try. Oh and the hotel also has an indoor pool, saunas, and fitness centre. The kids love it! I just wish the hotel had flat screen tv's! Traveller Tips: -The public bus stops right in front of the hotel and goes direct to downtown. It's a cheap way of getting around! -Get a room with a kitchen to save money on meals rather than dining out. -Try the cheesecake in their sports lounge or cafe - it is to die for! -If you're bringing a pet, there is a dog park right across the street :)
